Vivo X90 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus: Which Flagship Phone is Better?

Vivo X90 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus: Which Flagship Phone is Better?

If you’re planning on buying an android flagship phone in 2019, you’ve got some difficult decisions to make! Vivo has just revealed their new X90 Pro, with an incredible 98% screen to body ratio and Samsung has just unveiled their new Galaxy S23 Plus. Which of these phones should you be looking at?

Here’s everything you need to know about the Vivo X90 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus comparison!

Design

The Vivo X90 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus are both upcoming flagship phones, released by two of the biggest and most popular phone companies in the world. Both of these devices have similar specs such as a 6.4 display, 12MP+8MP dual camera setup, and 4,000mAh battery.

Both of these phones have their own unique features that set them apart from one another. For example, the Galaxy S23 Plus has an 8GB/128GB model with expandable storage, while the X90 Pro has a 5.6-inch AMOLED screen with no notch.

All in all, if you can't decide between these two devices and want to go for something new, then go with the Vivo X90 Pro! It may not be able to compete with the Galaxy S23 Plus on paper, but it's still a very good phone.

The only downside is that it will not be available until April 2019 at the earliest. But if you're looking for a different device and don't mind waiting a few months, then this is the way to go. With its top-of-the-line processor (Snapdragon 855), innovative 24MP front camera, and huge 256GB storage option; this phone is worth the wait.

If you like what you've read so far, stay tuned to find out how it compares with the Galaxy S23 Plus! You won't regret it. After testing both devices extensively, we came to the conclusion that the Vivo X90 Pro was superior due to its larger screen size and higher processing speed.

Sure, it might cost more than the Galaxy S23 Plus at first glance, but once we factored in price-per-month, this phone is much cheaper than any other flagships out there. So if you're interested in getting a good quality phone without breaking your bank account, check out our review below!

Display

-The Vivo X90 Pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus does not.

-The Vivo X90 Pro will have a large 4,000 mAh battery, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus has a smaller 3,500 mAh battery.

-The Vivo X90 Pro has a triple rear camera sensor and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus only has two. -The Vivo X90 Pro will have a 1080p display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, but the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus will be 2560 x 1440 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

-Both phones are rumored to be released on July 9th and both are supposed to cost around $600 USD.

-We cannot say which phone is better until they are released and we can compare them side by side! However, from what we know so far it seems that the Vivo X90 Pro might be worth waiting for because it includes more features than its counterpart.

-While these phones are priced similarly there are some differences between them; for example, if you prefer battery life over screen quality then you might want to choose the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus because of its larger battery capacity.

The Vivo X90 Pro may also be better for people who enjoy taking pictures and videos because of the three cameras it offers. And finally, the Vivo X90 Pro's ability to use an in-display fingerprint scanner may make your decision easier since this provides increased security as well as convenience. -In addition, it is said that the Vivo X90 Pro will come with less bloatware which means it should run smoothly out of the box.

-But really there isn't enough information yet to say definitively how either one will perform.

Processor & Memory

The Vivo X90 Pro has a Snapdragon 660 Processor and 6GB of RAM. The S23 Plus has a Snapdragon 855 Processor and 8GB of RAM. The Vivo X90 Pro also has 128GB of storage, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus only has 64GB.

The battery life on both phones is great, but the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus does have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The screen size is also different - with a 5.1-inch display on the Vivo X90 Pro and a 6.4-inch display on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus.

There's a big difference in price, too; the Vivo X90 Pro starts at $499 USD unlocked, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus starts at $899 USD unlocked. If you're looking for a powerful phone with plenty of memory and a larger screen, go with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. If you want to save some money or don't need as much power in your phone, go with the Vivo X90 Pro.

It has all of the essentials, plus more. You won't be disappointed! Buy now to experience this top of the line Android device that delivers performance and security with a fluid user experience. With these features combined, it's no wonder why people choose Vivo smartphones over any other brand when it comes to mobile technology.

They provide advanced features without charging a premium price. That's because their goal is to change the way we think about smart devices by making them affordable for everyone! Don't believe us? Just take a look at the specs and decide for yourself. In terms of performance, the S23 Plus is stronger and faster.

However, if you prefer to spend less than what Samsung wants for its flagship phone (which isn't unreasonable), then consider purchasing the Vivo X90 Pro instead. In addition, if you like bigger screens then get the S23 Plus. For those who are fine with smaller screens (or just prefer smaller screens) then they should get the X90 Pro instead.

Camera & Software

The Vivo X90 Pro has a 12MP + 20MP dual-lens camera, with an aperture of f/1.7, which is great for low-light shots. The front camera on the phone has a 32MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0. In contrast, the Galaxy S23 Plus only has a single lens at 16MP and aperture of f/1.8, and it does not have a secondary camera on its back like the X90 Pro does.

It also lacks support for 4K video recording, which can be found on the X90 Pro's rear-facing camera. In terms of performance, however, both phones are similar in that they use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chip to power them through their operations. One major difference between these two phones is the battery capacity.

The Galaxy S23 Plus comes with a 3,500mAh battery while the X90 Pro features a 5,000mAh battery--so depending on what you're looking for, one might be better suited than another. For example, if you need a phone with decent battery life but don't care too much about the camera quality, the Galaxy S23 Plus may be perfect for you.

On the other hand, if taking pictures is more important to you than anything else, then the X90 Pro would make more sense. Another difference between the two is how fast they charge; the Galaxy S23 Plus charges wirelessly at 10W (fastest charging standard), whereas the X90 Pro charges wirelessly up to 15W.

However, neither model supports wireless charging out of the box so you'll have to buy a wireless charger separately or order one from your carrier as an add-on when you purchase your new device.

Another key point worth noting is that there's no headphone jack on either phone.

Battery Life

The Vivo X90 Pro has a 3,350mAh battery and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus has a 4,000mAh battery. This means that the Vivo will last up to 9% longer than the Samsung. It also lasts for about 1.5 hours of screen-on time which beats out the Samsung by 6%.

The Vivo also has an ultra power saving mode which turns off all non-essential functions like Wi-Fi, data connection, and vibration when the phone hits 5%.

For comparison's sake, it would take two hours of charging to fully charge the Samsung while it only takes one hour with this phone. Although they both have fast charging technology, they use different speeds.

The Samsung uses 10W while the Vivo uses 15W. Neither phone is known to be water resistant but if you want something that can handle liquid better then you should get a waterproof case for your device. There are plenty available in the market.

The Samsung's display resolution is 1440 x 2960 pixels while the Vivo has a 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. The colors on the Samsung seem more accurate as well as having deeper blacks. But even so, it doesn't beat out other flagships like the OnePlus 7 Pro or Huawei P30 Pro which are much higher priced phones.

If money isn't a problem then these are worth looking into, but otherwise the Samsung may be more affordable. Both devices do not come with headphone jacks so you'll need to buy some separately.

The rear cameras are still somewhat equal but the front-facing camera on the Samsung seems to produce sharper images. However, many people claim that selfies taken on the Vivo look better. So basically it comes down to what kind of pictures you prefer.
